Event Overview

Shodoshima Universal Beach at Furusotomura Beach is a program designed to ensure everyone can enjoy the blessings of the sea and nature. Located near the famous Olive Beach, known for its high water clarity, this event offers a chance to experience marine sports in the beautiful Seto Inland Sea.

The concept is more than just leisure; it is about connecting with the rich natural environment of Shodoma and relaxing while enjoying the scenery. We offer programs suitable for beginners, families with small children, and even those not used to the ocean, all within a safe and controlled environment.

Highlights & How to Enjoy

The biggest draw is the activity on the calm, exceptionally clear waters of the Seto Inland Sea. For example, our Stand-Up Paddleboard (SUP) sessions use large, stable boards, allowing even beginners to stand up after just a few minutes of instruction. The elevated viewpoint offers a much wider panoramic view than sea kayaking.

During your cruise, you can lie on your board to gaze at the sky or take stunning photos against the scenic backdrop. From the water, you can view the iconic Greek-style windmills and olive groves of Shodoshima from a unique perspective. As most sessions are small-group tours, you can also learn about the island's history and nature through communication with your instructor.
