Event Overview

The Toi Konpirā Matsuri is a traditional annual event held on December 10th at Yasui Konpiragu, located in the Higashiyama district of Kyoto. This festival marks the final 'Konpirā-sama' day of the year. During the Toi Konpirā Matsuri, the 'Ineborai' charms are available at the shrine's reception. Etiquette & Rituals

How to Pray

First, offer your prayers at the main shrine (Honden) to express gratitude. Afterward, visit the famous 'Enkiri-Enmusubi' stone monument to perform your ritual using a 'Katashiro' (paper charm). You can find the Katashiro on the pedestal to the left of the stone; please offer a small donation of at least 100 JPY into the offering box before receiving it.

Talismans & Charms

The shrine office accepts requests for charms and the 'Ineborai' from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Please note that if you require charms to be mailed to you, specific procedures via postcard or mail may be required. Please check the official website for specific details.
