The Shichi-Go-San Exhibition is a special event hosted by Ueno Sosha Shrine to prepare for the traditional Japanese rite of passage, Shichi-Go-San. This exhibition allows families to browse a wide selection of the latest high-end kimono from top manufacturers, ensuring a smooth and beautiful preparation process from choosing the perfect outfit to the actual shrine blessing.
The biggest draw is the 'All-in-One Blessing Package,' which allows you to complete everything—from selecting an outfit to professional hair, makeup, photography, and the shrine blessing—all within the shrine grounds. You can enjoy the luxury of professional styling and a professional photoshoot while your child celebrates this precious milestone. It is a seamless way to experience the elegance of Japanese tradition.
The exhibition is held on the following dates:
The event takes place at Ueno Sosha Shrine, a historic and sacred site known as the central shrine for the 549 shrines of the Ueno region. It offers a serene and traditional atmosphere in Maebashi City to celebrate your child's growth.
To reserve a specific outfit or a celebration date during the exhibition, a 4,000 JPY reservation fee is required. Please prepare this in advance for a smooth process. The packages are designed to be hassle-free, as the shrine blessing fee is included in the plan. Kimono returns can be handled on the same day or the following day.
This event is primarily for selecting and reserving outfits and planning your celebration. Please check the official website for specific details on what to bring. If you are making a reservation, please ensure you have the 4,000 JPY reservation fee ready for payment.
