Guide
The Shichi-Go-San Exhibition at Ueno Soja Jinja is a special showcase and reservation event dedicated to celebrating the traditional Japanese rite of passage, Shichi-Go-San. This event supports families in preparing for this significant milestone by offering a comprehensive service that honors a child's growth. The highlight is the ability to complete all preparations within the shrine grounds, including viewing the latest high-end kimono collections, professional hair and makeup, expert dressing (kitsuke), professional photography, and the formal shrine blessing (gokito).
The greatest appeal is the opportunity to see and select from a vast variety of high-quality kimonos. You can browse the latest trends from top manufacturers to find the perfect outfit that suits your child's personality. For a stress-free experience, we offer a 'Full Pack Plan' which includes professional hair styling, makeup by an artist, and a professional photo shoot. This allows you to capture beautiful, high-quality memories of your child's most glamorous look without the burden of preparation. It is a wonderful way for the whole family to celebrate and bond during this special visit to the shrine.
