"Detective Watch with MESH" is an interactive learning program held at the Yamanashi Prefectural Science Center. Using "MESH" smart sensor technology, participants can learn everything from the basics to advanced applications of programming through hands-on experience.
True to its name, "Detective Watch," participants act like detectives—observing how sensors detect surroundings and how programs react to that data. This program is highly educational, helping to develop scientific and logical thinking skills.
The biggest draw of this workshop is its hands-on nature. Rather than just listening to a lecture, you will use smart sensor devices like MESH to intuitively understand how to control hardware through programming.
Imagine coding a sequence where, if a sensor detects light, a specific light turns on. This process of implementing real-world actions through code is engaging for both children and adults.
