Celebrate the 27th annual Otachimisaki Beach Soccer Festival at the beautiful Otachimisaki Beach in Ashikita, Kumamoto. This long-standing tradition allows visitors to enjoy high-level sports while soaking in the breathtaking natural scenery of the coast. With five distinct categories, the event is designed to welcome everyone from seasoned athletes to casual players.
The main draw is the dynamic soccer matches played on a stage of white sand and deep blue sea. You can enjoy the thrill of watching intense, high-speed plays up close or dive into the action as a participant. The atmosphere is incredibly vibrant, fostering connection across all generations, from children to adults, through the spirit of sport.
The festival takes place over two days: October 3 (Sat) and October 4 (Sun).
The event is held at Otachimisaki Beach in Ashikita, Kumamoto.
