Guide
As part of the "Open Studio vol.6: Art's Rest" series at the Nagano Prefectural Art Museum, we are hosting a special cross-talk event. This program features a dialogue between artist Taisuke Abe and Michiko Kasahara, the Director of the Nagano Prefectural Art Museum. In this second installment of our talk series, the pair will reflect on the creative processes and the intentions behind the works being produced.
The highlight of this event is the exclusive insight into the ongoing Open Studio project. The conversation explores the intersection of two perspectives: the artist Taisuke Abe's journey through thought and expression during the creation process, and Director Michiko Kasahara's perspective on that same process. It is a rare opportunity to delve into the professional and philosophical background of how art is born. Please note that during this event, video screenings in the exchange space will be suspended to ensure a focused environment for the dialogue.
Please note that the schedule is subject to change. We recommend arriving early to ensure your seat.
The event will be held in the "Exchange Space" located on the 1st floor of the Main Building of the Nagano Prefectural Art Museum.
