'Melodies Weaving the Wind' is a special musical event held at the historic Yokiso estate, featuring the enchanting sounds of the Latin Harp—an instrument central to Latin American folklore. The local ensemble 'corazon' will perform a selection of captivating South American melodies. This is a rare opportunity to lose yourself in music while surrounded by the timeless beauty of a traditional Japanese villa.
The main highlight is the emotive performance of the Latin Harp. The rhythmic and soulful melodies of this traditional instrument will transport you to a serene, different world. The tranquil atmosphere of the Yokiso estate provides the perfect backdrop, creating a seamless harmony between the music and the historic architecture. The venue is the Multi-purpose Room located in the basement of the Choshokaku (South Garden) at Yokiso. Yokiso is a renowned historical site, celebrated as a masterpiece of modern Japanese suburban villa architecture.
This is a reservation-only event with a capacity of 48 people per session. Since participants are chosen by lottery if the capacity is reached, we recommend applying early. While the concert itself is free of charge, please note that a separate admission fee for the Yokiso estate is required to enter the grounds.
