Event Overview

'Play with Fallen Leaves!' is a nature observation event held at Nopporo Forest Park, a place that showcases the rich natural beauty of Hokkaido. As autumn deepens, you can enjoy collecting the vibrant fallen leaves that color the forest while learning about tree species and natural ecosystems. Located near a major city yet preserving a sense of wild nature, this is a perfect opportunity to experience the changing seasons through all your senses.

Highlights & How to Enjoy

The best part of this event is the chance to actually walk through the woods and touch the colorful carpet of leaves on the ground. Rather than just looking at the scenery, you will collect leaves to learn about different tree types and their characteristics in an engaging way. Nopporo Forest Park is home to diverse trees such as Japanese Mizunara (oak), Katsura, and Todo Matsu (Sakhalin fir), offering a rich tapestry of colors in autumn. Feel like a true explorer as you experience the transition of the seasons.
