The Naruhodo Gardening Workshop is an interactive learning experience designed to teach you professional plant care and management techniques. The biggest draw of this workshop is the opportunity to learn directly from an expert. The instructor, Mr. Takayuki Otsubo, President of the Japan Plum Association, provides high-level knowledge based on extensive research in fruit trees, tropical fruits, and roses. These sessions are not just lectures; they are practical, hands-on lessons tailored to the current season to help you improve your home gardening.

After the main lecture, the 'Midori Consultation Corner' offers a unique way to solve specific problems. If you are struggling with a plant at home, you can bring the actual potted plant to the venue to get direct, professional advice on its health and growth.

Venue & Access

The workshop takes place in the training room or audiovisual room (located on the 2nd floor of the Management Building) within the facility in Kanagawa Prefecture.

Participation Tips

No prior reservation is required. Simply arrive at the venue (2nd floor of the Management Building) on the day of the event. Please note that capacity is limited to the first 30 participants, so we recommend arriving early. Both beginners and experienced hobbyists are welcome!

What to Bring & Etiquette

As this is a hands-on gardening workshop, please wear comfortable clothing suitable for the season. For the 'Midori Consultation Corner,' you are encouraged to bring your actual potted plants to receive specific, practical advice from the experts.
