Event Overview

The Namura Matsuri, held at the National Treasure Namura Shrine in Ryuo, Shiga Prefecture, is a significant ritual that preserves ancient traditions. Two days prior to the main event, the 'Mikoshi-dashi' ceremony takes place, where the portable shrines are beautifully decorated in preparation for the festivities.
