Everyone Makes Kusabue Karuta
4 min readEvent overview
"Everyone Makes Kusabue Karuta" is an event held on Saturday, October 31, from 10:00 to 12:00 in the study room at Sakura Kusabue-no-Oka, where everyone makes the official Kusabue-no-Oka karuta (autumn version) together. It is for parents and children (children must be in elementary school or older); participation is free, but admission to the park is separate.
The autumn photos of Kusabue that everyone takes become karuta. Take a photo of a place you like, and it becomes a picture card. You also think up words for the reading card that suit the photo. The finished karuta is scheduled to be published on the Kusabue-no-Oka website.
