Kurayoshi Obuki Matsuri is a cherished traditional summer festival held in Kurayoshi, Tottori Prefecture. Around the Kurayoshi Ginza Street area, you can witness the imposing Ushiki demon and the energetic Onna Mikoshi being carried through the streets. The atmosphere is filled with the rhythmic sounds of flutes and drums from the "Obuki Doji Hayashi" and other musical troupes. A major highlight is the "Mitsuboshi Odori," a traditional dance designated as an intangible folk cultural property of Kurayoshi, showcasing elegant movements that tell the city's history.

For the fireworks, please note that the riverbed area may be dark at night; prepare accordingly for safety.
