Event Overview

Kyourinbo is a historic temple founded in 605 by Prince Shotoku. Known as the 'Stone Temple,' it holds deep spiritual significance, featuring sites like the 'Prince's Sermon Rock.' During the autumn season, the temple offers a spectacular view where historic architecture meets a stunning scenic garden.

Highlights & Experience

The main highlight is the autumn leaves illumination. The contrast between the vivid red maples and the quiet, dark garden creates a mystical beauty quite different from the daytime. You can also experience traditional Japanese aesthetics through the view from the 'Jitsuketsu Window' and the historic architecture of the Shoin buildings.

• *Parking**: There is space for approximately 100 cars, but it becomes extremely crowded on weekends and holidays. Using public transportation or carpooling is highly recommended.

Tips for Visitors

Kyourinbo is famous for the 'Futatabi Moudi' Kannon, a deity believed to grant even difficult wishes if visited a second time. Please arrive early, as the final entry is at 18:30. The temple also seeks support for the ongoing maintenance of the main hall.
