Guide
Nagano Prefectural Art Museum hosts the monthly "Kodomo Art Lab," a workshop using familiar materials like paint, clay, and wood. This program is open to everyone from children to adults, aiming to make art and the museum's collections more accessible through hands-on creation and play. It also provides a space to foster social skills and communication through shared creativity.
On July 11, 2026, enjoy a special session led by an Art Communicator (AC) titled "Become an Ancient Egyptian!" Participants will craft masks and collars inspired by Ancient Egyptian motifs such as humans, cats, birds, hippos, and crocodiles. After creating your masterpiece, you can wear your mask and collar for a celebratory parade through the museum—a magical way to step into a world of imagination.
Date: Saturday, July 11, 2026. The program is held in two sessions:
The workshop is held at the "Exchange Space" on the 1st floor of the Main Building.
