Guide
The Kinseki Exhibition is a special botanical showcase held at the Midori no Sodanjo, located within the historic Hirosaki Park. This exhibition is dedicated to celebrating the sculptural beauty and artistic forms found in nature. Visitors can immerse themselves in the profound vitality and aesthetic elegance of plants, set against the stunning natural backdrop of Hirosaki Park.
The main draw of this event is the opportunity to observe the unique, artistic shapes and textures that plants naturally create. The exhibited specimens are more than just decorative; they showcase the strength and resilience of life through their intricate forms. By observing these details closely alongside the sweeping landscapes of Hiهاrosaki Park, you will discover a deeper connection to the natural world. Because the expressions of these plants change with the seasons, every visit offers a fresh perspective.
The exhibition will be held on the following dates:
Daily hours are from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Please note that on the final day, November 16 (Sun), the exhibition will close early at 3:30 PM. We recommend arriving with plenty of time to enjoy the displays.
The venue is the Midori no Sodanjo facility located inside Hirosaki Park. As Hirosaki Park is a vast and expansive area, we recommend checking the specific location of the facility in advance to plan your stroll through the park.
The exhibition runs from morning through the afternoon. For the best experience in observing the fine details and textures of the plants, we recommend visiting during the bright daylight hours. We suggest combining your visit with a walk through the park to enjoy the changing colors of the season and the surrounding natural environment.
The Midori no Sodanjo is a facility within the park. Since the event takes place in mid-November, please dress in layers to stay comfortable as temperatures drop.
