The Karaage Festival (also known as Kara-fes) is a special annual gourmet event held at AEON Mall Sanko in Nakatsu City, Oita Prefecture. Nakatsu is renowned as the 'Holy Land of Karaage' (Japanese fried chicken). This massive festival features many specialty shops from the local Nakatsu and Usa areas, as well as famous vendors from across Japan. With a history of attracting over 1 million visitors, it is a premier destination for food enthusiasts.

The event is held at the Special E Parking Lot of AEON Mall Sanko in Nakatsu, Oita.

Take the JR Nippo Main Line to 'Nakatsu Station' (South Exit), then take a dedicated shuttle bus for approximately 15 minutes to reach 'AEON Mall Sanko.'
