Event Overview

The Kamishibi Map Walk Rally is an interactive walking event set in the beautiful Kamishibi district of Eiheiji Town, Fukui Prefecture. Participants use the 'Kamishibi Map'—which captures the essence of the local area—to visit designated checkpoints. As you solve quizzes at each stop, you will learn about the local history, nature, and culture in an engaging way.

Highlights & How to Enjoy

This event is more than just a walk; it is a blend of intellectual play and social contribution. In addition to the quiz rally, we are hosting a 'Trash-Picking Challenge.' A unique rule determines the champions based on both the number of correct quiz answers and the weight of the trash collected, allowing you to enjoy the outdoors while helping to beautify the local environment. The map also features video content created by local students, offering a fresh perspective on the region.
