Event Overview

Hitachi Seaside Park is hosting the "Kabutomushi House" summer event. During this period, the "Exciting! Summer Vacation Craft Plaza" will be set up next to the Nature House on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. Visitors can enjoy various hands-on craft experiences and traditional Japanese Yo-yo fishing, perfect for children.

Highlights & How to Enjoy

The main highlight is the variety of rotating craft workshops. You can try making items such as kaleidoscopes or planetarium bottles, with different activities available depending on the day, ensuring a new discovery every time you visit. Additionally, Yo-yo fishing is held daily, offering a classic taste of a Japanese summer. These crafts allow children to create something tangible to take home.

Schedule

The Craft Plaza is held on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays during the Kabutomushi House period. Specific dates are as follows:

Hours: 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Please note that activities will end once materials run out.

Venue & Access

The venue is located in front of the "Sawada Yusui Nature House" within Hitachi Seaside Park. As the park is quite vast, we recommend checking the location of the Nature House in advance.

Participation Tips

Craft activities change daily, offering a variety of items like kaleidoscopes or planetarium bottles. Yo-yo fishing is available every day. Since materials are limited, it is highly recommended to arrive early to secure your spot.
