For safety, wear bright colors like red, yellow, or white. Avoid dark colors like black or navy. You must be able to perform basic bike maintenance, so bring spare tubes, tools, a puncture kit, a helmet, and warm clothing. When staying at accommodations, please use a lightweight soft bike bag (Rinko bag) to store your bicycle indoors. If weather or health becomes an issue, switching to a support car is an option.
