The 27th Izena Shoen O Matsuri is one of the largest community events held on Izena Island, Okinawa. Centered around the history and culture of Izena, the festival offers a diverse range of programs from day to night. Enjoy a blend of nature and culture with activities such as seaside sports, stage performances, and historical walking tours.
The festival is characterized by its variety of programs throughout the day. During the daytime, enjoy soccer matches and activities by the sea. From the evening, the Rinkai Fureai Outdoor Stage comes alive with local children's dance performances, music lives, and spectacular stage shows. As night falls, special-themed performances will light up the island, creating a vibrant atmosphere. It is a unique chance to experience the island's history amidst its beautiful natural scenery.

The main venues are the Seaside Area and the Rinkai Fureai Outdoor Stage on Izena Island. To reach Izena Island, take a ferry from the main island of Okinawa (Naha area). For travel within the island, please check for shuttle bus information in advance, as they may operate during the event period.
The event takes place in open-air environments like the seaside and public squares. Daytime programs include seaside sports and historical walking tours, allowing you to feel the island's nature directly. Evening programs feature local artists and groups, offering a lively and energetic atmosphere.
As this is an outdoor event, please prepare for heat and sun exposure. Bring a hat and plenty of water/hydration.
