Guide
Hon no Oshaberi-kai (Asaito Books) is an event where participants freely discuss their favorite books. There is no fixed theme; instead, it is designed as a space for participants to share books they own, books they are currently reading, or books that have left a lasting impression on them.
The core of this event is for participants to make their own "favorite book" the center of conversation. It is characterized by a free-spirited atmosphere rather than a strict format. By putting your personal reading experiences into words, you can enjoy gaining new perspectives and discovering new books through the eyes of others.
The event is scheduled to be held on the following dates:
The venue is the Kiseki no Ipponmatsu Hall, a Rikuzentakata Civic Cultural Center. This is a multi-purpose public facility used for music, theater, and various cultural and artistic activities.
To get the conversation started, we recommend preparing one "favorite book" that you would like to talk about. This is a space for free dialogue rather than formal presentations.
