To celebrate the 36th anniversary of the Fukuoka City Museum, a special event is being held to mark the grand opening of the new "Museum Garden" (front yard). The day features a variety of programs for all ages, including free admission to museum exhibitions. It is a wonderful opportunity to experience both the cultural treasures inside the museum and the lively entertainment outside in the garden.

The biggest draw of this event is the free admission to the museum's exhibitions. You can explore the permanent collection, which includes the National Treasure "Golden Seal," as well as special exhibitions that conclude on this very day.

In the outdoor garden, you can enjoy professional performances such as brass band music, balloon art, and juggling. There are also hands-on activities like making your own original tin badge and a stamp rally around the garden to win prizes. If you get hungry, several food trucks will be on-site offering delicious local treats.
