Experience the "First Tea Ceremony," a special event held at Yokiso, a historic villa located in the Kakuozan area of Nagoya. This program is designed for elementary school students and their parents, offering a chance to enjoy matcha and traditional sweets accompanied by professional guidance. Children will learn the basics of Japanese etiquette and culture in an easy-to-understand way.
The main highlight is the hands-on experience of enjoying delicious sweets and matcha. In this program, children will even try whisking their own matcha to serve to their parents. It is a wonderful opportunity to touch the essence of Japanese tea culture within the beautiful, historic atmosphere of Yokiso.

The event is held in four time slots:
Venue: Yokiso (North Garden) Sanshottei. Yokiso is a stunning modern suburban villa built between the Taisho and early Showa eras, reflecting the rich history of Nagoya.
This event is specifically for elementary school students and their parents. Capacity is limited to 4 groups per session, and advanced application is required. If there are many applicants, participants will be selected via a lottery system.
