The Nishiki Mikoshi-kai has served the Nishigoza Mikoshi procession since 1947, making it a deeply rooted community organization. The ritual is highly sacred, as the Nishigoza Mikoshi carries the spirit of the eight children of Susanoo-no-Mikoto.
