The centerpiece of the festival is the dedication of the "Hayashiya Bugaku." This exquisite dance is designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property. The Hayashiya family, descendants of musicians from Osaka's Shitenno-ji Temple, has preserved this art through a strict lineage of succession. It is celebrated as one of Japan's four most prestigious forms of Bugaku (court dance).   • Sept 12, 20:00~: Ritual ceremonies (Gakuzorai-shiki and Yanu-hara-shiki)
  • Sept 13, 13:30~: Ritual purification; 14:20~: Bugaku performance (7 pieces)
  • Sept 14, 12:00~: Procession start; 14:00~: Bugaku performance (10 pieces)
  • Sept 15, 13:30~: Daikoku-mai dance and more
