Shirahama Fireworks Display

6 min read

Event Overview

Set against the stunning backdrop of Shirahama Beach, known for its pristine white sand, this is one of Nanki Shirahama's most iconic summer events. Approximately 2,500 colorful fireworks will light up the sky, creating a breathtaking harmony with the coastline. The display features dynamic elements such as fireworks launched from floating barges and specialized effects over the water, offering a uniquely maritime experience.

Highlights & Tips

The main attraction is the striking contrast between the white sands of Shirahama and the multi-colored light show. Watching shades of red, pink, blue, and purple reflect off the ocean surface is a luxury experience found only here. The variety of angles, including launches from the sea, ensures an immersive spectacle for all spectators.

Schedule

The event is held on August 10. The fireworks are scheduled to launch from 20:10 to 20:40. Please note that a backup date (such as August 24) may be set in case of inclement weather. Always check the official website for the latest updates regarding potential delays or cancellations.

The venue is Shirahama Beach. Access details are as follows:
