About Kishiwada Danjiri Matsuri Festival
Pro-tips for enjoying the Kishiwada Danjiri Matsuri:
- Experience the 'Yarimawashi': The cornering turns are the most thrilling part. Watch from a safe distance to feel the incredible speed of the floats.
- Plan your return route: Stations get very crowded after the festival ends. If Kishiwada Station is packed, try using the JR Higashi-Kishiwada Station instead.
- Move early: Tens of thousands of people move at once after the 10:00 PM finish. Leaving slightly early helps you avoid the peak rush.
- Travel light: Since you will be navigating through dense crowds, avoid carrying large suitcases. A small backpack is ideal.
