Fujioka Matsuri is a traditional festival held in Fujioka City, Gunma Prefecture. The highlight of this celebration is the appearance of "Tekomai," a beautiful tradition that preserves the customs of the Edo period. Originally, Tekomai represented the artisans who protected festival floats, but today, it is celebrated as a graceful parade of women dressed in exquisite, traditional attire walking through the streets.
