Guide
The Ashiya Summer Carnival is a community-driven summer festival celebrating the local spirit. It is a high-energy event where massive fireworks illuminate the night sky, accompanied by local stage performances and a vibrant lineup of traditional festival stalls (Ennichi). To ensure safety and crowd control, this is a strictly reservation-only event. Only guests with a pre-purchased ticket or entry pass will be permitted to enter the venue.
The main attraction is the breathtaking fireworks show that paints the night sky in vivid colors. For the ultimate experience, the Sponsored Seating area offers a premium view with synchronized music and professional lighting effects. You can also enjoy the local talent on the community stage and explore the festival stalls, with approximately 20 vendors offering food and treats from afternoon until night. Please note that while the People's Park area allows you to watch the fireworks freely, it does not include the musical-synchronized displays available to ticketed seating-area guests.
The event will be held on August 1, 2026.
The venue is Ashiya City General Park. There is no parking available at the venue, so please use public transportation or arrive on foot.
Access routes vary depending on your specific entry area. Please first head toward the "Ashiya Sogo Koen-mae" intersection.
This is a strictly reservation-based event. You must have a ticket or entry pass to access the festival stalls, the stage area, or the fireworks viewing areas. If you do not have a ticket, you will not be allowed to enter the venue premises. Please ensure your reservations are completed well in advance.
