The Erinj-ji Zazen Meditation & Tea Session is a spiritual experience held at the historic Erinj-ji Temple in Koshu City, Yamanashi Prefecture. Within the serene atmosphere of the temple's main hall and meditation hall, you can escape the busyness of daily life and connect with your inner self. To ensure everyone feels comfortable, a guided lecture on proper posture and etiquette is provided for beginners.

The main draw is the opportunity to practice authentic Zazen meditation amidst the solemn and majestic atmosphere of an ancient temple. The session consists of two 25-minute meditation periods with a short break in between to help you maintain focus without strain. Following the meditation, the head priest will share a brief Dharma talk and greetings, offering deeper spiritual insights. On certain dates, the session may also be live-streamed on Instagram, blending ancient tradition with modern accessibility.

Participation Tips
No special equipment or preparation is required for Zazen.
