The 2026 Great Insect Exhibition at Tokyo Skytree Town (Sumida, Tokyo) features the theme "Insects are Friends! Japanese Life." This large-scale event offers a deep dive into the insect world, showcasing beautiful specimens from around the globe, rare live insects like the Hercules Beetle, and the history of the silkworm in Japanese industry.

Highlights

Observe rare beetles and stag beetles up close. Don't miss the popular Hercules Beetle display and occasional photo sessions. The event also features a special debut of precious insect specimens rescued and restored by the Kyushu University Museum.
