Event Overview

The 11th Sanyutei Koyuzo Sanmonkai is a special performance event gathering the disciples of the master storyteller Sanyutei Koyuzo. This year, the lineup is even more prestigious with the addition of special guest Ryutei Kochiraku. Beyond the art of Rakugo (traditional comedic storytelling), you can experience the rich culture of Yugawara through traditional dances and folk music, offering a deep dive into Japan's traditional arts and humor.

Highlights

The main draw of this event is the high-level comedic performance by professional Rakugo storytellers. The disciples of Sanyutei Koyuzo will showcase their mastery, and the appearance of special guest Ryutei Kochiraku is a major highlight for enthusiasts. To add more variety, the program includes traditional dances by Yugawara Geiko (traditional entertainers) and folk music performances by Umekichi Hiyama, allowing you to experience a wide range of Japanese traditional arts in a welcoming atmosphere.
