Guide
The Curie Festival is a signature summer event held in Misasa Onsen, Tottori Prefecture. Centered around the theme of "Sound, Spring, and Laughter," the festival features a diverse program designed to bring energy to the hot spring town. From riverfront water play and gourmet food to a lively evening parade, there is plenty to enjoy with family and friends.
A major highlight is the "Bishonure (Soaked) Operation" held at the riverside upstream from Koitani Bridge. This is a water gun battle event with two styles: a "Mission-style Paid Area" (for elementary school students and older) and a "Free Target Area" (no restrictions). At the Onsen Plaza, the Food Truck Festa offers a variety of treats like curry, shaved ice, fried chicken, and draft beer. As night falls, the "Waiwai Parade" marches through the Misasa Onsen streets, heightening the festive atmosphere.
