Cultural Heritage Watching
5 min readEvent Overview
Cultural Heritage Watching is an immersive learning event designed to spark interest in local history and ancient craftsmanship. Participants can challenge themselves with traditional skills that are rarely experienced today, such as pottery making, crafting 'magatama' (comma-shaped beads), and traditional fire making. Additionally, you can deepen your understanding of the past by observing authentic ancient pottery and stone tools in the resource room.
Highlights & Activities
The biggest draw of this event is the hands-on, practical approach to learning. Rather than just observing, you will actively engage in programs like pottery making, bead crafting, and fire making to truly feel the rhythm of ancient life. The opportunity to view and study genuine archaeological artifacts up close provides a profound connection to the history of the region.
