Event Overview

The Ashidagawa Fireworks Display is a traditional summer event held at the Ashida River in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture. On the night of August 15, 2026, approximately 16,000 fireworks will light up the sky around the upstream area of the Ashida River Bridge. The display features a dynamic combination of fireworks and the river, including a spectacular water-surface star mine that creates a brilliant, synchronized light show over the water.

Highlights & How to Enjoy

The main highlight is the water-surface star mine. The sight of lights reflecting on the river surface while fireworks soar high into the sky offers an incredibly immersive experience.
